- [Narrator] Our table of contents is not going to do us much good unless we put actual page numbers in our document. Let me show you how. Let's go to insert, page number and I'm going to choose page numbers at the bottom of the page. This opens up a really nice gallery. You can also add your own items here. But the page numbering that I want is a simple page with an accent bar and then the number of the page. Just like this, page one, for example. Page two and so on. Page three, now what I'd like to do is provide different numbering for parts of the document. This is 26 page but I don't want pages one and two, the table of contents to be part of that normal page count. I'd like Section One- Introduction, to be the first page. And I would like my table of contents to have different page numbering.
