- [Narrator] Shopify is one of the easiest to use platforms, and no doubt, they've been able to bring a whole new cohort to store owners into eCommerce because they lowered some of the barriers to entry. What used to take custom code can now be done with pre-built integrations, and they've gone to great lengths to reduce the choices that you have to make. One of my favorite examples is Shopify Payments. Behind the scenes, it's actually the payment gateway Stripe, which is the gateway I recommend to most store owners anyway. They took one of the most popular gateways and white-labeled it. This reduces the amount a store has to know. They don't need to choose between Authorize.Net Amazon Pay, and Stripe, they can just use Shopify Payments. This is actually a really good example of a smart default.
