- [Instructor] Part of keeping your network up and operational is keeping it secure. The one thing we don't want to allow is packet sniffing on the network. And packet sniffing should only be done by authorized individuals. And the reason is it can expose sensitive information. I'm going to take you to a browser and behind the scenes, when we look at privacy and security. One of the things that our browsers do, as long as we keep them updated, they try to protect us. As you can see here in privacy and security, it tries to do things such as block social media trackers, or cross-site tracking cookies. In addition, when you go to log into a site, it will warn you if the connection is not secure. For example, I'm on Facebook and I were to click this and it says connection secure. Now I know it's secure because the lock is there. And I know that when I put my username and password, it will be encrypted by using transport layer…
