- Hi, I'm Jungwoo Ryoo, and welcome to Protecting Your Network with Open-Source Software. In this course, we'll look at some essential open-source tools you can use to effectively protect your network. I'll start by showing you how to set up different types of firewalls by using IP tables, and I'll show you how to use Wireshark to analyze different network protocols. We'll see how to do intrusion detection using Snort, and how to monitor your network using various tools.
