Compile Wireshark and capture OpenFlow on Ubuntu

- [Instructor] Now, unfortunately, the version of Wireshark that's installed as part of Ubuntu doesn't support the OpenFlow filters. To get OpenFlow filters like I'm showing you here, you need to compile Wireshark yourself by following these steps. I'll make these steps available as part of the course, but also to save you time. The ODL virtual machine that I'm using in these demonstrations is available as part of this course. If you simply download and use this OVA, that I'll make available, you'll be able to use the OpenFlow filters without having to download and compile Wireshark yourself. In my example, I've allocated a lot of RAM to this ODL VM, but the one that I've exported only uses two gig, so you don't need this amount of RAM. I've just done that to give it more power so I can run larger topologies. If you install Wireshark directly on Ubuntu, you won't get these filters. So, once again, you have to follow these steps to be able to do what I'm gonna show you right now. So…
