- Periscope is a standalone live-streaming app…that is owned by Twitter,…so whether you want to broadcast from the Periscope app…or your Twitter feed itself,…it's pretty much exactly the same experience.…I'll show you on Periscope first…and again, rather than use a phone,…I'm going to use my iPad just so it's easier…for you to see.…I'll just open up the Periscope app…and these are the people who are broadcast recently.…There's a button at the button here that's to go live…and, as usual I could name it first.…
Course, the camera's pointing the wrong way.…You don't see any turn around button here…like you usually see on these apps…but if you just tap the screen twice…it turns it around and faces it to me.…Now I'm keeping it vertical this time because…Periscope usually is a kind of phone to phone situation.…There's not really a way to view it…on a web browser unless you're looking at Twitter…which people, again, tend to do on their phones.…So we'll name this something good…to get people to really tune in.…Let's call it…
