- [Instructor] Welcome to this installment of my Windows Presentation Foundation course where we look at the vast control library included in WPF. The first stop is to explore the relationship between controls and their base classes like FrameworkElement and UIElement. You'll discover the important properties, methods, and events defined in these classes. Then, the exploration accelerates. You'll look at tool tips and layout properties, explore the decorators and draw with shapes and lines.
There is a quick look at control focus and tab order, then it's time to study the button classes. There is an assertment of text display and text input controls to discover. Finally, we'll take a sampling of other controls like progress bar, the calendar, and expander. It's time to start building a user interface with the WPF controls.
