- [Instructor] Hi, I'm Nick Brazzi. Welcome to this course on the new features in the Windows 10 April 2018 update. We'll start by exploring the most significant changes to existing applications and tools in Windows 10. There have been several small changes to Edge, the web browser that comes bundled with Windows including some interface enhancements and improvements to reading books. Quiet hours has been renamed to focus assist. And you have even more options for silencing notifications when you're busy. There's also a new fast pairing mode for some Bluetooth accessories.
Some completely new features in Windows include Near Share, which lets you send files and other data from one computer to another wirelessly, and Timeline, which lets you see applications and tasks that you were working on in the past and continue with those tasks quickly. Then we'll look at some settings options that have changed. Windows now has adjustments for audio devices in the Windows settings app and you can also control which applications startup when you turn on your computer and a few other new settings you may want to check out.
So lets jump in and explore the new features in the Windows 10 April 2018 update.
