- [Instructor] In this movie, I want to go a little more in depth into using the touch screen controls on a tablet device running Windows 10. So let's jump right into the Tablet mode if you're not already there. I'm using a Microsoft Surface so all I need to do is remove the keyboard cover, wait for this question and confirm that I do want to switch into Tablet mode. So now we're in the Tablet mode and I'm going to do everything from here using touch controls. So this is only going to work if you're using a computer with a touch screen. So first, we know that we can launch applications right here on the Start screen. So I can tap on the tile for Edge to launch that application. So now I'm in Edge, but in this application and lots of others, I'm going to need to type in some text. On a tablet device with no keyboard attached, I'll need to depend on the on-screen touch keyboard. To get to that, generally I can just tap on an editable text field.
