It's important to cover a few course basics before getting started. In this video, learn how to navigate and use the exercises.
- [Instructor] This course includes Exercise Files which you can use to follow along. I suggest you download them to the desktop like I've done here. Inside there are files for the chapters in the course and also Resources. This folder contains a text file that we'll use to cut and paste some code later in the course. In the chapter folders, there is folder for each of the movies, and in those a Start and a Final folder. The Start folder contains the project as it is at the beginning of the video, and the Finish folder contains the project as it is at the end.
If you want to start in the middle of a chapter, you can open the Start folder and jump right in. The project is called UndoRedo, and the Xamarin solution file is in here. We will be building an app from scratch though, so I encourage you to start at the beginning of the course and work your way through each video. Also, we'll be using Xamarin Studio version 6.1.5. If you're using a different version, the steps I show on my screen may be slightly different from what you need to do. All right, now let's get started in Xamarin Studio.
