This movie will explore the People application, which is the address book that comes with windows 10. We'll see how to make a new address book card and how to sort them.
- [Voiceover] The People application,…also known as the Address Book,…is one of the simplest bundled apps in Windows 10.…But, it is pretty valuable,…especially when used along with the Mail app.…So, let me go into the Start Menu.…And, I do not have a tile for the People app,…so I'm gonna scroll through my list of all apps,…and I'll launch it from here.…So, the interface here is pretty simple.…On the left side, we have a list of all of the people…I have in my Address Book.…Each of these entries is referred to as a card.…When I select one of these cards,…I see the details of this person's contact information…over on the right side.…
Now, it's certainly possible that you might have…an empty Address Book,…when you first launch this.…But, if you have your address book…linked to an online account…that already has some Address Book contacts saved,…then those Address Book cards will automatically sync…to your computer.…As we saw in an earlier movie, in this chapter,…I synchronized two accounts with the Mail application,…
