- So now that we have Network Load Balancing configured we're ready to build a CAS array. So I'm sitting out here on a Windows 7 machine and Outlook 2010, logged in as the administrator. And I'm gonna come up here and take a look at my Outlook profile, my account settings. Look at the properties here you can see that I've been configured to connect the CAS hub to dot uss dot local so anytime I open Outlook to get to my mailbox data I've always got to go through this server. So the whole point of the CAS array is creating some redundancy for this. Because obviously right now if CAS hub two were to die I would not be able to get into my email. So what we're gonna do is we're gonna take that load balanced IP address and configure Exchange to have clients connect to that load balanced address. That way if CAS hub two goes down we can still make a connection to CAS hub one. So I'm gonna go ahead and cancel out of this. Let's move over to the server and we'll take a look at how to set this…
