- At this point, I've moved over to a different machine. I'm on a server now. Let's go into the system properties and take a look at the configuration of this machine. Notice in here that I'm running Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise with Service Pact 1. If you have the ability to use this version of Windows, this has all of the latest hot pixels and it's the most prepared operating system foreign exchange 2010. You can also use Windows Server 2008 SP two or anything higher than that but I would recommend you deploy on 2008 R2 SP one. You'll only need the Enterprise version if you're going to do database availability groups and we'll get into that at some point. Notice that I've also named this machine Cashub1. So this machine's going to run a combination of both the client access service roles and Hub Transport roles. From an OS perspective, I'm good to go because I've got 2008 R2 SP 1.
