Sketchpad and Screen Sketch are two apps that can be found in the Ink Workspace. Both of these apps allow you to makes sketches or take notes. It's like having a whiteboard on your computer. Screen Sketch will take a picture of whatever is on your computer's screen and set that as the background for your sketch. So, you can quickly draw or take notes and send an image of that workspace to your co-workers.
- [Voiceover] In this movie,…we'll talk about two apps in the Windows Ink workspace,…because these two apps are nearly identical.…I'll go into the Windows Ink workspace,…and what we're going to talk about here…are the sketchpad and screen sketch apps.…So let's start with sketchpad,…so this is just a big white space…that I can use to draw or take handwritten notes.…And of course, I'm using the pen so…I can just draw directly on this note.…So I could write something, or I could draw something.…Now I really don't have very good drawing skills,…so I'll just draw a happy face here.…
But I want to take a look at…the tools we have across the top here.…Starting on the far left,…we have three different drawing tools.…Now I've been using the pen,…I can see that's currently selected.…But there's a little arrow here,…if I click on that, or tap on it with my pen,…it opens up a menu where I can change the color…and the thickness of my brush stroke.…So that's the pen, next to that is the pencil.…And it has very similar controls.…
