- [Instructor] Remote users and IT administrators have an awfully difficult time dealing with printers when the user is remote to the office. There are some ways that we can make this work such as scripting through PowerShell, group policy and others. Let's take a look at a couple of things we can do. Once you remote into their PC, you can go to backslash, backslash, and the name of the print server. In my case, it's going to be dc1. And there's my two shared printers. One way I can connect is just right-click and choose Connect. And it'll connect to the printer. And now it'll show up when I go into Control Panel, devices and printers. And there's my Office1 on dc1. So that's simple enough. Doesn't always work that way, unfortunately. So there's a way we can also do this through PowerShell. And we can get to PowerShell by going to right-click, choose PowerShell (Admin). And we can type in Add-Printer, dash…
