Installing WADK and MDT
- Now let's go ahead and install the two key tools we're going to need to finish our deployment and actually start putting all the pieces together. One tool that we're going to have to get is the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit. Now this is a free tool, but you do have to go and download the tool. And it's fairly straightforward. You actually want to get the Update 1, which is the most recent version that's been updated to Windows 10 Deployment. You'll also notice that inside of the description for this, it says also get the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit. In other words, it's ready for that. You're actually going to need both of these files for MDT to work. MDT requires the WADK for the actual installation. You're going to have to download both of the files. So for Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, you'll find it on this website. Then you're also going to go get the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit.
