- [Scott] The author, Walt Whitman is quoted as saying, Do I contradict myself? Very well then, I contradict myself. I am large, I contain multitudes. Over the years, Microsoft has gained quite a reputation. Sometimes earned and deserved, sometimes possibly overly critical, but there is change in the wind. Change that may contradict what some people think of Microsoft and their server products. Hi, I'm Scott Burrell, and I'm excited to bring you this first look at the flagship of Microsoft's semi-annual release of Windows Server.
In these videos, we're going to explore what's new and changed in the 1709 build, and we're going to talk a little bit about the why behind these features. We'll take a look at new remote management tools. We'll try out some of the container improvements. And we'll even run two different flavors or Linux in Windows without the use of containers or virtual machines. Let's jump in and see what the new Windows Server will do for you, and how you can shape the future.
