- [Instructor] In this course, I'm expecting that you have at least a basic knowledge of Windows Server environments and probably already know how to install Windows Server 2019, and maybe even a little bit of knowledge of Active Directory. But if you want to follow along, I want you to know that if you look at my environment here, I have four virtual machines that are running. Okay? Two of them are domain controllers, and two of them are member servers. I will tell you that, truthfully, if you want to follow along, you really only need one domain controller. I have two because it's always a good idea to have two or more domain controllers running. So the second one is really only in place as a backup in case the first one fails. Most of the demonstrations will be done on Member-1 and Member-2, which are member servers in the domain that is created with the two domain controllers you see here. Outside of that, you don't need anything else, and you can follow along and learn from this course.
