What you should know before watching this course

- [Voiceover] In this course, I'm expecting that you are coming in with at least some general knowledge of Windows Server environments. Now, optimally, it'd be nice if you had some experience with Windows Server 2012 R2, but it's not an absolute requirement. Additionally, I'd like to share with you the environment in which I'll be working in. I'm using virtualization, so that means I have virtual machines that are going to emulate a corporate network, and I have six virtual machines. Two of them are domain controllers, which are running Windows Server 2012 R2, and then I have two member servers within that domain also running Windows Server 2012 R2, and then I have two Windows 10 clients for connectivity and, in some cases, with the domain and sometimes we'll do it as a standalone. Now, if you want to follow along and you're trying to put together a network like mine, you don't necessarily have to have all six virtual machines. I would say at least have three, basically having one…
