- [Instructor] In previous videos, we've talked about planning the installation of our Windows 2019 Server and we've gone through the process of installing the operating system in a virtual machine, along with discussing custom installations versus upgrades. Once a custom installation is complete, there are three things that you need to do right away. The first one, you're prompted for. Before you're able to do anything else, you will need to assign an administrator password and there are requirements for this. It has to be at least eight characters and the password complexity rules are turned on. So, you'll need to assign a password that has uppercase and lowercase letters, as well as numbers and punctuation. Let me go ahead and assign this to this machine. Once we go ahead and set this password, Windows Server will finalize your settings and boot up to a desktop. I'm going to go ahead and change my settings so that I'm always full screen. So, let me go ahead and make that change…
