Testing the CRL

- [Instructor] We ended the last segment by specifying a new CRL distribution point, and that was a location on our New England server. Now there are quite a few videos, walkthroughs, and forums on the internet that will tell you that this next step doesn't work. They even give you a command that you can use to bypass this error, so the subordinate authority doesn't need to check the CRL. In this video, we're going to prove them wrong, and learn a couple of important points about using a CRL in a two-tier hierarchy. We have two tasks in front of us: we need to make sure that the files are placed where we said they would be, and then we need to tell the issuing certificate authority, our New England server, where to find them. First we're going to take the files from this server and we're going to copy them to the New England server.
