- [Instructor] Before we move forward with configuring the Windows Server Update Service, let's review just a couple of decisions that we've already made about how this server will be used. This server is going to pull its updates from Microsoft at one o'clock in the morning. We're doing this in the overnight hours because, for our environment, that's a time when it won't interfere with other network traffic. For our network, for our organization, the languages that are important for us to install will be English and Spanish, and we need to receive updates for Windows Server and Windows workstations. The types of updates that we want to receive are any of the critical updates, as well as the regular roll-ups. Reviewing this information can help us with some of the questions that we're going to answer during the configuration.
