- [Instructor] When applying GPO settings, you can create scenarios where in order to accomplish the goals of those settings, you require a certain amount of network bandwidth. A great example of this might be if you are deploying software using group policy. And you may find yourself in certain situations where you may have certain remote users who are connected with a limited amount of bandwidth to where it either just cannot succeed in applying the setting and again, great example would be installing software so maybe it just can't install the software, or it just may be too resource intensive to even bother trying, all right. It might be well, we can get the software installed, but it's going to take so long we don't want to try, okay. And we call this slow link processing. So to take a look at how we can handle these situations, let's jump into our domain controller DC1.
