- [Instructor] So far in this chapter, we've created a new template for issuing identity verifying certificates to the computers, specifically the traveling laptops within our company. One of the first security settings that we need to look at is who or what is allowed to request this certificate. The Security tab will look a lot like the Security tab of a drive or a directory, with a list of users at the top and a list of permissions at the bottom. This list starts out with the users or groups that have administrative rights over the template. Our challenge is to make this certificate available, not to users, but to computers. To do this, we can go ahead and use the Add button, just as you might in other environments, and before selecting our specific objects, we're going to look at this top list. What types of objects are we allowing? The default is Users, Groups, and Built in Security Principles. If we click the box for Object Types, we can deselect the object types that don't…
