- [Instructor] One of my absolute favorite features, when using Hyper-V is something called checkpoints. Now, a checkpoint is a snapshot of the exact state of a virtual machine, at a certain point in time. And what's really cool about having these checkpoints is not just that you can take the snapshot, but much more importantly, that you can revert back to them at any point in the future if you need to do so. So, to take a look at this, I want to show you that here, in the Hyper-V Manager, I have a virtual machine called Demo VM, and you'll notice it's in a running state. And in fact, I want to go ahead and connect to it to show you that it is a fully functional operating system. So I'll double-click on it, which takes me into a virtual machine connection window. I get my login screen where I'll go ahead and enter my password for the administrator account, and it takes me into the Server Manager, just to show you that I have a fully functional Windows server operating system here…
