- [Narrator] Now that we have a plan in place, it's time to install the certificate services role on our servers. There are three different ways you can do this. One is within the new Windows admin center that was introduced in 2017. This is a tool that's designed to manage Windows servers and it will allow you to install roles and features. But at the time of this recording it does not include an extension to help us configure that role once it's installed. You can also choose to do your installations from PowerShell as well as the server manager. I'm going to use the server manager for this demonstration only because it displays all of the options that I want you to consider. So let me go ahead and clear the Windows admin center ad here and from inside the server manager I'm going to select add roles and features. The first time you install a role or a feature you'll receive this screen. And many people choose to skip it in the future by default. It gives you some basic information…
