Installing the DHCP server role

- [Instructor] The first step when it comes to deploying DHCP out on your network would be to install the DHCP Server role onto Windows Server 2016. To demonstrate this step, I'm going to go ahead and select one of my servers here, called DC-1. Here on DC-1 we are looking at the Server Manager, and if I want to install a role, all we have to do is come down here and click where it says add roles and features. Here I get the before you begin screen that we always see when installing a role, which basically says, hey, you're about to do something significant. You may want to get all your security settings in place. We know that we are, so I will go ahead and click next. It is a role-based installation, so I can click next again. It wants me to select what server I'm going to install the role on. We are doing DC-1, so I will click next. And then here is where I can select the role that I want to install. So on the list here I will find DHCP Server, and when I check the box, you'll see…
