- [Instructor] Alright It's that time, it's to install our first Windows container host, I'm going to step you through the requirements here which are relatively short and then we're going to jump into the command line and get started. In this case we'll be using Windows Server 2019, so of course you need to fulfill the Windows Server 2019 requirements simply to install Windows Server 2019. This isn't a Windows Server training course, so I'm not really going to go into that, I'm just going to make the assumption that you have successfully installed Windows Server 2019 and that you met the requirements in doing so. Docker then has its own requirements, they recommend for Windows that you use the LTSC or the Long-Term Service Channel, specifically 2016 and 2019, either the core or GUI, they also give you the option to use the SAC or the Semi-Annual Channel and there are the other build numbers associated with that at the time that I am creating this course.
