- [Instructor] Once you have successfully installed the Hyper-V role, the next thing you should do is you should make sure that all of your Hyper-V settings are properly configured. So here in the Hyper-V Manager, you can see here we already have our server, HOST-1, and if I right-click on HOST-1, in the drop-down menu, you'll see I have an option here for Hyper-V Settings. When I click on it, here are all the different settings that we can take a look at, and these are settings for the Hyper-V, the actual Hyper-V server itself, alright? So, the first two I will tell you were already configured as part of installing the role, you may remember that we were specifically asked for the default location for our virtual hard disk, and for our virtual machine configuration files. So, those have already been configured. The next one is NUMA Spanning. So, this setting will allow virtual machines to span across NUMA nodes when CPU or memory resources are needed.
