How to add a VM in Hyper-V to a cluster

- [Instructor] Our Windows Server 2016 servers are running both Failover Cluster Manager as well as Hyperview Manager. And in Hyperview Manager, you can see a lot of different virtual machines running. Unfortunately those are no highly available and we need to change that by adding them into our failover cluster. So we're going to take Data2 which is running Windows Server 2016 and we're going to add it to the failover cluster on our server. So let's move over to the failover cluster and we see Roles. And we're not currently hosting any roles so let's change that by right-clicking and choosing Configure Role. From here we'll click Next and scroll down to where it says Virtual Machine. Click Next. And now it shows all the servers that we're hosting on this particular node. And it shows us Data2. Let's go ahead and add Data2. Click Next. And we're adding our server. Go ahead and click Finish.
