Extend and shrink storage drive partitions in Windows Server 2016

- [Tutor] In Server 2016 in our File and Storage Services manager, we can easily go into our volumes and we can extend or shrink a partition, simply by right-clicking on the volume and choosing either extend or shrink. In this case we only have the option to extend the volume because it cannot shrink any smaller than it is. This doesn't give a great graphical representation on what we're doing, so we're going to look at the same option under Computer Management and go ahead and extend and shrink these different volumes. So you can see how that's done. We're now in Computer Management and this graphical representation is much easier to follow than the server manager in the file storage options area. We've got a disk that is brand new, it is not been used in any way, and we would like to make it smaller and then we'd like to make it larger. So why would you want to do this?
