- [Narrator] One of the most important tools to be familiar with as a server administrator, is any form of event logging tool. These tools should be your absolute best friend as a server administrator. These are the tools that are truly going to tell you what is and has been going on with your server. So, in the world of Microsoft, here on our Windows server 2019 computer. The tool that we have available is called Event Viewer. The way we get to it is here in the server manager. I'm going to go up to the tools menu, and you'll see here I have an option for a Event Viewer. So I'm going to click on that, and then I'm going to expand my Windows logs and I'm going to click on the system log. Now there's a lot of things we could be looking at here. But basically, I want you to see here that I'm just going to kind of scrolling and you can tell I'm scrolling 'cause now you're starting to see different colored things coming…
