- [Voiceover] Hi, my name is Timothy Pintello. In this course, I'll introduce you to some core TCP/IP services that are found in Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and show you how to carry out basic installation and configuration of those services. In this course, we'll go over IP version four and IP version six addressing. We will also discuss how DCP works and how to create a DCP server. Finally, we'll discuss what DNS is, how it works, and how to create a DNS Server.
Along with discussing these core TCP/IP services, we will also implement, configure, and install those services and their dependencies in a virtual network environment using VirtualBox. We'll configure multiple server 2012 virtual machines to be servers for the core TCP/IP services discussed in this course. So let's get started with installing and configuring core TCP/IP services.
