Creating and managing user objects

- In order for a user to sit down at a computer and be able to use that machine. That user has to have some type of credentials to be able to log on to that machine. Whether it be local credentials, that are stored in a local database. Or if that computer happens to be a member of our active directory structure, Logging on with, domain based credentials. So either way, the user has to have those credentials created for them. In this session, we're going to be looking at. What are the different types of user accounts or user objects in our environment. The domain based accounts, the local accounts. We'll look at the naming conventions that we use with those specific types of accounts. We'll then get into how to create the objects and we'll look at creating them with both the graphical interfaces, the active directory that uses the computers and the active directory administrative sitter. We'll look at how to use the command line, with the DS commands and then finally we'll finish up…
