Creating a RAID mirroring partition

- [Instructor] We're going to take a look at how to create a mirrored volume using File and Storage Services in Server Manager on Windows Server 2016. We can see here we have our server listed, we have our Volumes, Disks, Storage Pools, and this is where we're going to start. We're going to start with our Primordial disk which means it doesn't really have anything configured yet, and we can make this into anything we want. So let's go ahead and right-click and we're going to create a New Storage Pool. We've got to have a pool in order to perform the rest of the tasks to create a mirror. Let's go ahead and call this MirroredDrive, and it's going to be on our Data server. Click Next, and we just need to pick two different drives that are of the same size. We can't pick the four and the five gigabyte because they're not the same size, so let's just choose two five gigabytes that are available, and click Next, then click Create, and Close.
