Connection request policies

- [Narrator] One of the types of policies that we're going to need to configure on an NPS server, is a connection request policy. This is a policy that specifies where an authentication request is to be handled and who's allowed to even make the request. Now a policy was created for this category when we did the initial configuration. So before we go building one from scratch, let's take a look at that one. In the NPS tool, under Policies, when we select Connection Request Policies, we can see the policy that was generated during the initial configuration. And I'm going to double click on that. And let's take a look at how one of these policies is configured. At first, the type of network access server is listed. The choices are Remote Desktop, Remote Access, meaning VPN or unspecified. Unspecified is usually used for WiFi access points. And we also have the ability to name our policy and say, yes, this policy is enabled. Now these tabs get progressively more specific as we go.
