Configuring a role
- In the previous video, we went through the process of adding a role to a Windows server. And here we are at the end of that successful installation of the active directory domain services and DNS server role. And right here, you'll notice a blue link. "Promote this server to a domain controller." it's also possible to have links that just say "configure this service" or "configure this role". Some people may never see that link because they're going to see and respond to this invitation to close the Wizard without interrupting the installation. If you had done that, if you'd closed that, you can still get to that link to do the configuration by noticing the alerts or notifications, selecting that, and looking for that exact same link.
