Configuring NIC teaming
- [Instructor] NIC Teams also known as network, load balancing and failover teams are fairly easily created in Powershell. Here we are back on the file server that we've looked at previously in this course. But we've added a couple of network adapters so that we can create a team to better balance the load of sharing files to our users. To complete this process, we need to be in Powershell. You can see that we are by the prompt beginning with PS. We need to be connected as an administrator, which might be indicated by your path, but more importantly look to the title bar, and make sure that it says you've entered administrative access mode. Third, we're going to need to get information about our network interfaces. And for that, we're going to use a commandlet that we've already seen a few times. For those relatively new to Powershell, you'll notice that I'm using something called Pascal Case. Where when multiple words are pushed together for a single expression, you still capitalize…
