- [Instructor] The file management task section of the file server resource manager allows you to perform certain operations on your data based upon previously defined classification properties. So here I'm in the file server resource manager and you'll notice the fifth and bottom item here is file management tasks. And if I click on it, there's nothing there cause we haven't created anything. So let's go ahead and create one. I'm going to right-click on file management tasks and select to create file management task. I have to give it a name, so I'll go ahead and just call it demo file management task. I'll make sure that it's enabled. If I go to the scope tab this is where I need to define where I want this task to be applied.
