Configure cluster storage

- [Instructor] The cluster storage consists of two parts. The first is the data itself and the second is the quorum storage, if you choose this option during the initial cluster setup configuration. We'll talk more about quorum in an upcoming video. The storage device is the data that's shared between one or more servers. And as you can see here we've got host one and host two, and both of them share disk one. Disk one is showing the 977-gigabyte partition. The storage device, in this case it's a SAN, or storage area network, has to be put into cluster mode if it doesn't do so automatically or it will crash the data on one or more servers when two or more of them access the data at the same time. The data is then stored in the C drive in a folder called cluster storage, which I'll discuss in just a moment. Most SAN devices have the option to put the storage into cluster mode so it can be accessed by more than one server at a time. Let's go ahead and choose one of our two servers. And…
