Configure File Server Resource Manager

- [Instructor] File Server Resource Manager can help IT administrators by providing multiple different services such as quotas and file classification. We need to install the File Server Resource Manager role, so let's go ahead and click on Add Roles and Features. And we'll skip down to where we have Server Roles, and expand the File and Storage Services role. From here we'll click on the File Server Resource Manager, and click Next, and Install. Our installation is now complete, let's go ahead and click Close, and go to Tools, and File Server Resource Manager. Let's take a look at some of the different utilities that come with this particular program. Let's start with the Quota Management. Quota Management allows us to tell users who use our server file shares that they cannot exceed a certain amount of data without being warned or blocked before adding any additional data.
