Add the iSCSI target role in clustering
- [Voiceover] The iSCSI Target Storage Option is a new role in Windows Server 2012, and we can make that role highly available by adding it to Failover Cluster Manager. The iSCSI Target basically allows multiple servers to all access stoarge on a Windows 2012 R2 simultaneously. And it can be added in to be made highly available through the Failover Cluster Manager. We need to start by adding the iSCSI Target feature into all the different nodes that will be clustered using this particular role. Let's go to Add Roles and Features. Click Next. Click Next. Choose our first server on the list. Next. Expand the File and Storage Services. Expand the File and iSCSI Services. Choose the iSCSI Target Server. Click Next. Next. And Install. Once this is done, we'll do the same with our other server because all servers, all nodes in our cluster need to have this service in order for this to work properly. Now we're ready to go ahead and choose our second server, and we'll do the exact same thing.…
