Before in the single threaded version, each house building task is performed in sequential order, that is one at a time. Here you are shown that certain tasks can actually be performed at the same time. If Roofing, BrickLaying and Plumbing can all start after the house frame is built then lets have them start executing after buildFrame task completes. Here you are introduced to Windows APIs that introduce task parallelism.
