Firewall management using Windows Admin Center

- [Instructor] Windows Defender Firewall is also a function that we can manage on any server client in Windows Admin Center. So, I'm showing a control panel on a Windows 2019 server, and I'll click on Windows Defender Firewall and then click on Advanced Settings. And this shows all the inbound and outbound firewall rules to our server. So if we see a green check mark it means it's enabled, if we don't, it means it's disabled. And you can scroll through all the different rules and these rules are applied in order. So if there is a rule that disables traffic ahead of a rule that enables the traffic then that would actually cause that traffic to be rejected. And we can click on create a new rule to create a rule it will put at the top of our list. And we can allow a program, a port, or other options.
