- [Instructor] The structured data markup helper tool is a free tool that allows you to add structured data to your websites, and to specific pages of your website as well. So this allows you to give Google more information about what is on your web page so that they could potentially include some of that in search engine results, and this can potentially help your search engine rankings as well. So what you want to do is the page in question that you want to add structured data to, you can paste it in here and start tagging, but you also want to choose what type of page this is. So if it's a product page, then you want to choose product. If it is an article, then choose that. If is an event page, then choose that. If it's restaurant, then choose that, and then once you're finished, start tagging.
