The focus of solving user problems

- In this course, we'll be using an example problem as we go through each step of the design thinking process so that you can see how each section leads into the next. Our example is not as complex as the enterprise level issues you might experience in your work, but the same principles will apply in any size team, doing any type of problem. I teach this technique to clients in multiple industries, like finance, hospitality, automotive, and service companies. I use the same basic techniques with startups and with teams in large multinational organizations. We didn't stage the process. All the people you see taking part in the design thinking exercises during this course are members of a development team. We ran through the whole process in just two days and filmed it as we went along. The examples I point out during the class were all constructed during those two days. If that team can produce the output they did in two days, imagine what your team could do, given a couple of weeks.
