- [Narrator] In this exercise, we are going to block out a slide-in drawer. To get yourself started, open then WFSlide file found in your chapter download. As you can see, I've used a series of shape layers to create content wireframe. I like starting with this sort of thing because it allows me to concentrate on the micro-interaction without worrying about the actual content. In this case, we are going to block out how the drawer slides into place and is dismissed. This gives us an opportunity to see what works and what doesn't work, which will save a ton of potentially-wasted time when the whole thing is assembled. For this experiment, I'm using solids. And you can see there's a whole collection of them here in the Solids folder. And solids are nothing more than layers with color. There are a number of other uses for solids, but for the purpose of this exercise, we just need the shapes and the color. The first step is to get the drawer into its start position.
