What is a high fidelity prototype?

- [Instructor] High- Fidelity prototypes, are normally pixel-perfect renderings of how your interface will work. Often linked together in clickable series, so that you can also decide how the interaction will flow. The idea is to have the prototype look and function as closely as possible to the product that you plan on shipping but without the investment in actual code. The prototype has the look of the final product and lets you click through some common paths that users would take. But it has little or no logic behind it and doesn't actually contain true interaction. High-Fidelity prototypes can help you define the layout, visual appearance and interaction methods that your design will use. Although they sometimes just include placeholder graphics and text, these prototypes are actually a great opportunity to make sure that the types of content that you'll be using, fit well in the proposed design.
