- [Instructor] In this brief exercise, I want to talk about a feature that is going to preserve your sanity. It's called Markers. Markers can be used on the timeline to comment on what happens, or to indicate the start and the end of a micro-interaction. Now there are a couple of different markers used. One is called a composition marker, and another is called the timeline marker, and I'm going to show you both of them and we'll start with the composition marker. Now composition markers are added right here in the composition bin, or the marker bin, and if I drag one out to say, frame 30, I've now got a marker showing and it's got the number one in it, and if I want to add text, I don't double-click on the text, what I do is I double-click on the marker itself and that opens the Composition Marker window, So I know something starts here.
