these things right up here, we have it a bit easy. We really don't need to use all of them. the pan behind tool which is this little one here, and I'll get into those ones shortly. We also use the shapes, and there are a bunch of them. And we use the pen and the type tool. The shapes are the ones we will use the most often, so let's dig into them first. about shapes is they can drive you crazy. They do two things, they either act as a mask, or act as a shape, let's see how. Select the photo layer, select the rectangle tool, now let's draw out a shape. Congratulations, you just discovered what I was talking about. If you draw a shape over a selected layer, the shape is a mask. I'm going to undo this by pressing command+Z. So let's go back to the selection tool. If you need to draw buttons or other shapes, make sure a layer is not selected. Notice how the shape becomes its own layer. Now over here are the stroke and the fill options. To change the color you just click the color chip…
